Turmspringer DJ Team has been one of Berlin's most exciting dj acts back in 2006. With the weekly presented after hour in the charming club Golden Gate Tim Brüggeman and Tonkind label head Robert Galic have slowly but constantly conquered the ears and hearts of Berlin's club scene. Their fresh mix
of Techno, House, Tech-Deep-House, Minimal and their hard-headed Wild style has convinced not only
the ambitious habitués of Berlin's great club Berghain and Panoramabar but also some of Berlin's electronic music artists and labels. The first Turmspringer 12" release is no coming on Tonkind, with two
curious tracks it reflects wonderful their type of wild style .
"Nim" on the A-side is a symbiosis of Dub, House, Acid and Kindergeburtstag.
An impulsive and thrilling track with deep basses and punchy drifty hits, bizarre vocals, modulating surfaces, catchy breaks and adrenalin pushing peak points. For sure a sounds cape leaving nothing
to desire. Hard to tell, where to implant such a humorous track in a set, it is definitely a primetime track
which keeps a lot of space for a multistyle mix.
"Gib" on the B-side starts a bit more calm and atmospheric, but not less exciting. Abstract distorted guitar sounds are swooping back to back on a rhythmic frame of minimal sounds followed by steady modulated bass arpeggio who is drifting from low to high frequencies.
This track too, is coming up with some surprising moments, where a new space and drive is overtaking the scene, like in the middle part. It drops from a straight House into a Rock Steady - Minimal - House part. Reduced on a few rhythmic hits it lead to a different charming shake.
All together Turmspringer understands to reflect the feeling of a coloured trip and cause with their unexpected musical moves and breaks, an unforgettable impression to the listener
